The 1980 United States House Election in Vermont was held on November 4, 1980, to elect United States Representative to represent the Vermont Congressional District. The total votes casted was 195,219. James Merrill Jeffords (Republican) was elected, receiving 79.03% of the votes, which equals 154,274 votes. James M. Jeffords (Republican) won the previous election in 1978.James M. Jeffords (Republican) won the following election in 1982.
