1972 Vermont Governor Election

The 1972 Vermont Governor Election was held on November 7, 1972. The total votes casted was 189,237. Thomas P. Salmon (Democratic/Independent Vermonters) was elected, receiving 55.24% of the votes, which equals 104,533 votes.
