The 2010 Vermont State Auditor Election was held on November 2, 2010. The total votes casted was 244,000, with 12,779 (5.24%) of these being rejected. Thomas M. Salmon (Republican) was elected, receiving 52.00% of the votes, which equals 120,237 votes.

The final election result is as follows. Thomas M. Salmon of Republican (52.00%) won with a majority of the votes, defeated Doug Hoffer of Democratic/Progressive (45.45%) by a margin of 6.55%.
