The 2019 United Kingdom Parliamentary Election in Scotland took place on December 12, 2019 to elect 59 seats. Scottish National secured 48 seats, which constitutes 81.4% of the total seats, alongside receiving 45.0% of the popular vote. A total number of 2,766,005 votes were cast in this election. The total number of registered voters was 4,053,056, resulting in a participation rate of 68.2%. There were totally 292 candidates ran for 59 seats across the 59 districts.
