The 2015 United Kingdom Parliamentary Election in Wales took place on May 7, 2015 to elect 40 seats. Labour secured 25 seats, which constitutes 62.5% of the total seats, alongside receiving 36.9% of the popular vote. A total number of 1,501,147 votes were cast in this election.
