2024 Elections in Washington
The 2024 elections in Washington will take place on November 5, 2024. Voters in Washington will participate in a variety of significant elections, including those for federal, state, and local offices. The primary elections are scheduled for August 6, 2024.
Federal Offices
Presidential Election
Washington will participate in the 2024 United States presidential election, allocating its 12 electoral votes based on the popular vote. The presidential primary for both parties is scheduled to be held on March 12, 2024.
U.S. Senate
The U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democratic Senator Maria Cantwell will be contested. Senator Cantwell, first elected in 2000, is running for re-election. The primary election for this seat will take place on August 6, 2024.
U.S. House of Representatives
All 10 of Washington's congressional districts will hold elections to select their representatives for the U.S. House. These elections will coincide with the presidential and other federal elections. Notably, incumbents Derek Kilmer (D) from the 6th district and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R) from the 5th district have announced they will not seek re-election.

Governor

Secretary of State
